    1. Hi A.P, you’re welcome. It’s a great website with lots of poetry written by people from all walks of life. I’m good, btw. I’ve been writing sporadically, but I still hope to post some of them up occasionally. With regards to reading my followers’s work, I’ve got lots of catching up to do! 😅 How are you doing? 😃

      1. I’m doing well, Zelda – just coming down with a flu, which is a bit of a concern. I have an unusually strong immune system and so I never get the flu shots. This is like the 3rd flu I’ve had in 15 years, although all 3 of them have been in the past 4 years. Anywaze going back to bed now. It’s good to hear from you, and I look forward to reading your poetic work. – Andy

      2. Oh my, get well soon, A.P.! It’s a common ailment but flu symptoms are always horrible to deal with. You’re very blessed with such an immune system – my resistance seems to last only for a year or so, at the max…😅 You’re welcome. It’s really nice to hear from you, considering that we’ve not talked for some time now. I, too, look forward to catch up on your didactic masterpieces and music. Good night! 🙂

  1. Good morning. Yes, you’ve been on my radar the last few days via Twitter, and I’ve been meaning to touch base with you. You’re one of the more fascinating of the intelligent young people I’ve encountered here. Feel free to drop me a line when you wake, look like I’ll be staying in for a day or two.

    1. Ah, I’m delighted to have that honour. 😊 I stagnated lately, but the busy brain has now runneth over and it would be a waste not to scratch that writing itch, so here I am again. I thought I had to give writing up temporarily due to my schedule, but it seems that part of me will not simply succumb to that thought. I’m just happy to scratch the itch for now. 🙂

  2. I can very much relate to that. For about a week, I was creatively dry and unmotivated. Then something changed, and my ideas seem to have solidified once again. From what you said, you might enjoy the book *An Unquiet Mind* by Kay Jamison. I confess I only read about half of it (and this was ten years ago), but I did resonate with a lot of it. Some people are more intellectually active than others. I guess at the extreme, as she describes, it becomes “bipolar disorder” — but in my case, they’ve usually diagnosed me as only mildly bipolar (though I am *severe* ADHD). And of course, what do they know? But I thought of the book when you mentioned scratching that intellectual itch.

I do feel that as Writers we need to honor those shifts in consciousness, inasmuch as schedule provides. In my case, For me, there’s a certain energy that lends itself to poetry, an energy that flourishes on the piano, an energy that wants to write plays or short articles, and so forth. We can’t always accommodate those internal fluctuations, of course, because life gets in the way. But I find that when I am able to tune into those shifting psychic tides, my work shines brighter.
